Step 1 : Residents of neighbourhoods selected in advance by the municipality receive a letter announcing the
arrival of «ambassadors to improve their neighbourhood».
Step 2 : Teams of ambassadors visit residents for a ten-minute meeting, at the end of which the resident is asked
to commit to 3 actions adapted to their level of commitment. They are asked for their phone number so that they
can be contacted 6 weeks later to discuss their progress. 90% of residents met agreed to provide their contact
details for follow-up.
Step 3 : Telephone support every 6 weeks for a period ranging from 12 to 18 months. During this coaching, each
resident is informed of the results of the project and progresses individually, at a pace suited to them.
In addition to individual support, collective waste-related events and challenges are organised during this period,
so that residents involved in the process feel part of a whole and can more easily see the impact of their individual
actions combined on a city-wide scale.
